All ropes are sold in 30 foot (approx 9 meter) lengths* and come with the ends finished with a variant of a sailmaker's whipping. The 30 foot lengths can be cut shorter on request (eg: two 15 foot ropes, a 10 foot and a 20 foot rope, three 10 foot ropes, etc).
NOTICE (November 27, 2011): Our supply of Jute yarn has been completely exhaused and we are activley working on obtaining more but at present have no estimate for when that will be.
A discount is available when purchasing four or more ropes at the same time (of any type, diameter, or color). During the initial purchase, one cut and whipping can be made for no additional charge. Additional cuts and whippings are $2 each.
How To Order
Current inventory can change quickly and while some finished ropes are stocked, it may take up to three weeks to dye yarn and spin the ropes if sufficient stock is not available. Because of this, please contact us with a description of what you would like and we will be happy to provide a timeframe for delivery. Cash, Checks (with identification), VISA, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted for purchases. A secure checkout link will be sent via email for credit card transactions once the order details are finalized (checkout places a hold for the amount but it is not charged until the order ships or is delivered). Payment is required to start production on custom orders.

Jute Rope
This is not your typical garden twine variety Jute rope. These ropes have a light feel to them and but not as smooth or as strong as Hemp. Because of the nature of Jute, this is the only rope which is conditioned after being spun into rope.

Bamboo is naturally antibacterial and makes a soft, almost silky, rope yet still holds knots better than Nylon or MFP ropes.

*: Lengths are typically closer to 31 feet, but will sometimes be up to 6 inches shorter or up to 18 inches longer (total length from 29.5 to 31.5 feet or 9.0 to 9.6 meters) - the tighter the twist the shorter the rope.
Diameters are typically within 0.5mm, but being a hand process with natural fibers there will be some variation.
